Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District serves the community, along with adjacent Agua Dulce. Vasquez High School is the local comprehensive high school. Elementary and middle assignments vary by address. Antelope Valley College and College of the Canyons are the nearest two-year community colleges.
Amenities and access
The 14 freeway crosses through the community with direct access south to Santa Clarita and the San Fernando Valley and north to Palmdale and Lancaster. The Metrolink Antelope Valley Line stops at Vincent Grade/Acton station on the northern edge, providing weekday commuter rail into Union Station in downtown LA. Vasquez Rocks Natural Area (Los Angeles County park) is directly east and includes the dramatic sandstone rock formations frequently used in film and TV production. The Angeles National Forest is directly south.
