Apple Valley is served principally by Apple Valley Unified School District, which covers most of the town. Spring Valley Lake addresses on the Apple Valley side are split between Victor Elementary School District for grades K through 8 and Victor Valley Union High School District at the high school level. Victor Valley College's main campus is a short drive west in Victorville.
Amenities and access
Jess Ranch Marketplace and the Bear Valley Road corridor anchor day-to-day retail, with healthcare concentrated at Providence St. Mary Medical Center on the west side. The 18, the 247, and the 15 freeway (via Victorville) tie the town into the rest of the high desert and the Cajon Pass. Mojave Narrows Regional Park, the Mojave River, and trails into the foothills give the town its outdoor draw.
