Canoga Park is a west San Fernando Valley neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, bounded roughly by Winnetka to the east, West Hills to the west, Sherman Way as the historic commercial spine, and the Los Angeles River flowing through the southern edge. The neighborhood was originally larger and separated from what became West Hills in 1987. Housing is predominantly mid-century single-family tract and older multifamily on standard suburban lots, with a growing layer of newer townhome and small-lot detached projects near Warner Center.

Los Angeles Unified School District serves the neighborhood. Canoga Park High School is the local comprehensive high school. Elementary and middle school assignments vary by address. Sherman Way is the daily commercial spine running east-west through the neighborhood. The 101 freeway forms the southern boundary and the 118 sits a few miles north via Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
