Menifee
Menifee sits in the Menifee Valley of southwest Riverside County, between Lake Elsinore and Temecula along the Interstate 215 corridor. Incorporated in 2008, it brought together a cluster of older communities — most notably the original Sun City — with a wave of newer master-planned development, giving the city an unusually wide housing mix for its size. Buyers will find everything from single-story homes in established 55-plus enclaves to large new-construction tracts with parks, trails, and community pools. The pace is quieter and more residential than neighboring Murrieta or Temecula, which is much of the draw.
