Ontario is served by the Ontario-Montclair School District for elementary and middle grades and by the Chaffey Joint Union High School District for high schools, with parts of south Ontario served by the Mountain View and Chino Valley districts. Chaffey College's main campus is just north in Rancho Cucamonga, and the University of La Verne and Cal Poly Pomona are a short drive west.
