Silverado
Silverado is a small rural canyon community in the Santa Ana Mountains of eastern Orange County, tucked into a canyon that runs east off Santiago Canyon Road. The community is unincorporated OC and sits inside the boundary of Cleveland National Forest for much of its area. Housing is a mix of large-lot semi-rural residences, older canyon homes, and newer custom builds — a very different character from the suburban and coastal OC most buyers picture.

The community's small Silverado Charter School provides local K-6 education inside the canyon, with older students traveling out of the canyon for middle and high school. The defining amenity is the setting itself — Silverado is one of the very few OC addresses that reads as genuinely rural, with Cleveland National Forest trails, canyon hiking, and mountain character immediately outside the door.
