West Hills
West Hills is a west San Fernando Valley neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, framed by the 101 freeway to the south, Chatsworth to the north, Woodland Hills to the east, and the Ventura County line to the west. The neighborhood separated from Canoga Park in 1987 through a formal name change. Housing is dominated by master-planned single-family tract and semi-custom construction from the 1980s onward, with substantial hillside estates in the pockets climbing north and west toward the Santa Susana Mountains and the Simi Valley boundary.
