Yucca Valley

Yucca Valley is the largest town in the Morongo Basin, set in the high desert between the San Bernardino Mountains and the north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and about 25 minutes from Palm Springs. The town has a distinctive desert-architectural character, with single-family ranch houses on generous lots, hillside custom builds with boulders and panoramic views, and a steady share of short-term rental product driven by Joshua Tree tourism. Inventory is broader and generally more affordable than the Coachella Valley to the south, and the Morongo Basin economy keeps a strong creative, hospitality, and small-business footprint in the town.
